Overview of Foreclosure Defense and Debt Relief | Know Your Rights PDF E-mail

At the Owens Law Firm, we have only one goal: To help you sleep at night.

This is why we exist and the way we measure our success. One more peaceful night at a time. The most satisfying calls we get are the ones from clients who tell us that “After our meeting with your firm, we had our first full night of sleep in months.”

Our attorneys are trained in all aspects of debt relief, including foreclosure defense, bankruptcy options, creditor harassment, and credit card defense.

We help bring this relief, and help reduce your stress, by caring and by carefully listening to both your individual financial problems as well as your life goals. You have been bombarded with information from the media, from friends and from advertisements. Often these ads are from disreputable scam artists offering “solutions” to repair your credit, consolidate your debt or modify your loan. Usually these “solutions” are too good to be true. We will help you wade through all the information that is out there, answer all of your questions and show you what will really work for you and what will not.

Each of our clients is different, so we provide many different services to address your specific needs. We can help you with foreclosure defense, stop creditor harassment, or determine if bankruptcy may provide the relief you are seeking (and which type of bankruptcy is right for you). Working together, you will soon have a clear understanding of all of your options to get moving forward again.

We take the time to thoroughly understand you, and for you to understand us. Your initial consultation is free, and although you will receive a wealth of information, there is no pressure for you to retain our firm. You are completely free to take the knowledge and resources that we provide for further review. It will provide you with a solid foundation to build from.

However, please remember that your problems will not just go away by themselves. Waiting to deal with them may just make things worse. You may also lose some of your available options the longer you delay. We can usually schedule your free consultation within 24 hours of your call, and start providing the services you need to recover and rebuild your life. Contact us now with any questions you may have, or to schedule your free consultation.

PHOTO – Timothy S. Owens is the founding member of The Owens Law Firm, P.A. He graduated from Stetson College of Law in 2000 and began his legal career as a prosecutor with the Office of the State Attorney. As an Assistant State Attorney, Mr. Owens gained valuable trial experience prosecuting a wide variety of cases, from misdemeanors to violent crimes, for the State of Florida. He has conducted hundreds of depositions, argued countless motions, and been the lead trial attorney in nearly 100 jury trials, protecting the good people of the state of Florida.

In the Spring of 2003, Mr. Owens decided to continue his protection of the rights of Floridians by focusing on helping the many people who have been adversely affected by the economy. Well aware of the fact that Floridians were among the hardest hit by the downturn, and that Florida homeowners were in desperate need of help, he has dedicated his life, and his practice, to providing this much needed assistance. With his intimate knowledge of the bankruptcy laws, foreclosure defense and Federal Debt Collection Practices, Mr. Owens and his staff are able to provide clients with reliable, accurate answers to their questions and a comprehensive, customized strategy to solve their problems and let them once again enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep.
